After getting my hair done

Today we did not have lessons so we woke up at 10am to wash up and head to the salon to get our hair done. Most of us wanted to do treatment and so almost the whole group went to the the salon. I went there to wash and blow my hair for RMB$10. After that, the two friends we made in the salon brought us out to roller blade. Their roller blading is indoor disco style, very different from the ones in singapore where we normally roller blade in parks or outdoor. The entrance fee is only RMB$6 and the rental fee for the blades is RMB$1. We skated for around 2 hours and returned back to campus grounds. We took a very special cab back and it cost RMB$10 for a 7 person ride which is very worth it. After that, we met up our china students and went to meet up with the rest. We head to a very posh restaurant for our farewell dinner. There were many dishes and the food there is to our liking. After having dinner, we took some photos with the china students and gave them gifts. We went back to our hostels and the local students hang out for a while before leaving to rest for the day. We head back to our respective rooms and we discussed about the IS video presentation project. We blogged and decide to rest early as we are meeting the local students tomorrow at 9.45am to go to a new shopping area to shop.

Personal Reflection:

I just saw the email Mr Chia sent to us regarding our blog. He ask us what will we be doing this last weekend in wuhan. I believe i will treasure this last few days i have with the china students and do some mad shopping though my luggage is already overweight. It is just so hard to resists the temptation to buy stuff as the price is really very cheap. Besides, i would like to ensure that we keep in touch with the china locals and i think i would surely miss their company when i return to singapore after developing such a close bond.
