Today, lessons started at 9am and we had our group presentations. Our team was lucky number 1 and so there were many mistakes which Miss Neo pointed out to the class to take note. The rest of the team took their turns to present and we finished all the presentations by 11.30am. We decided to head back to our bunk and bathe. We head to our usual spot 堕落街 to have lunch. I tried something new today. It has lean meat and egg. The ingredients are placed in a cripsy bun baked over charcoal. It is nice at the first bite as the lean meat taste very similiar to the ones sold in singapore. However, after a few bites, i find it very salty. It's like eating mouthfuls of salt. When i drink my soya milk after finishing the bun, the soya milk is tasteless like plain water. We met our china student, dongxiang, and he brought us to a new shopping place which Sihao say is huge and nice to shop. It is called 光谷广场 and it is really huge. However, the bus ride there is a killer. It takes almost an hour to reach there and i feel that it's not worth the long transport hours as the things there are quite similiar to the ones we can get in our nearby shopping malls. We did not really shop much there and i bought hongkong style egg waffles to try. We only tried lots of food and decide to head to 销品茂's walmart to get our stuff for tomorrow's cruise. We bought instant noodles, snacks and bottles of water. The bill came up to RMB$120plus. We are like preparing for camp. We had dinner at Macdonalds and cab back to our hostel. We were informed that tomorrow we are to gather at 1pm so i believe many of us will be sleeping late tonight and update our blogs as the next 3 days we cannot use our computers.
Personal Reflection:
I saw a vendor selling puppies by the roadside while we are walking to a bus stop to take a bus to 销品茂. The vendor placed 7 cute puppies in a small box. The living the puppies look like they have no space and they are just newborn puppies i think as they spend most of their time sleeping when the vendor took them out of the box to place them on the floor for potential buyers to view. The puppies were very cute and selling cheap too. I think the vendor should seperate the puppies into different boxes and allow them ample space to sleep. I can imagine all 7 puppies squeezing in the small box if one catches an illness or disease, all the rest will get it too.
