Day 34

My 2 bags to be checked in not including my luggage and 1 more hello kitty bag

Cynthia's luggages

Ling Li's baggages

Today, we have a final project presentation at 9am. I found it hard to wake up today at 8am as i'm really exhausted from rushing through our project stuff yesterday night. I slept at 4.30am yesterday so i did not really have sufficient sleep. It was hard to keep focus when the other groups were presenting. My group was the 3rd one to present and we had many errors so Miss Neo told us to correct them before sending the files to her. After that, Miss Neo briefed us on the trip tomorrow and a few points to note when we are returning back to singapore. We went back to our rooms after that. I went to buy myself lunch with the guys as i'm superb hungry after skipping lunch this morning. We decided to packed our stuff after Miss Neo informed us that previous batches of students always have overloaded baggages. I weighed mine and found our that it is around 35kg which is over the weight limit of 30kg. I'm intending to put some stuff into my backpack and get another small duffle bag to be hand carried on board so as to lighten some load on my check in luggages. I packed for quite some time as there are so many stuff. Ling Li & Cynthia went to have hair treatment. Soonling, Weiqin & I went to meet them for dinner after some time. We had 炸酱面 at 建设二路 and we head back to our campus. The friends that we made in the hair salon called us at around 10plus and wanted to meet us up. We invited them to our hostels and entertain them till around 11plus

Personal Reflection:

I learnt that we must host the china students & locals the same way as they treat us. They are super friendly and welcoming which is something we should learn about. When the friends we made in the hair salon called us at 10plus, I was a bit reluctant to go out to meet them as it is quite late already and the gate closes at 11.30pm. I offered them to come up to visit us in our hostels but some of us feel very weird to have them in the room as it is quite messy. We finally allowed them to come up after some discussion with my bunk mates while on the phone with our salon friends. I think that it is a little rude to be discussing about such stuff indirectly in front of them.
