Day 35

Today we met up at 9am at the ground level of our classroom block to go to the new campus of WUST at another district. It is almost a 2hour bus ride there and i was very sleepy as i slept at 2 the other night. We also did not have time to have breakfast. We are the earliest to reached and we hang out at the lobby area for half an hour as the ECE people are required to attend the excursion also but they have a test today. We boarded the bus at 9.30am and i slept on the bus ride to the new campus. We were given a warm welcome by the local students there who waited for us at the entrance out in the cold to receive us. We were given a number tag each and a local student is attached to us. We were brought to a room where the local students performed for us a dance and a song. We performed something back in return but as we are not prepared, it was not our 100%. We were brought around the campus. We went to their school museum first and had lunch at their school canteen. The food is nicer than the one in our campus. We had some games at the sports field and went to their specimen room. Ling li hurt her knee when we were playing in the campus and she was brought to the school clinic to wash her wound. After that, we boarded a bus to return back to campus. It was already 5plus when we reached the campus and we headed to our dorms before heading out to 步行街. We shopped and returned to campus at around 11plus.

Personal Reflection:

It's a little regret to be unprepared for the performance today in the new campus of WUST. We used a lot of time on the stage preparing and discussing about the steps and who is to perform. The WUST students performed so well and what we brought to them seems like rubbish. I believe our dance looked very messy and unprepared. We must have given them an impression that we did not take this occasion seriously. I feel that we should be more prepared for such stuff in future discuss on the bus when Miss Neo informed us that there may be a possibility that we may need to perform to the local students there.
