Today we had Project Management test. It started at 10am at classroom 702. I woke up at 8.30am to bathe so that I am refreshed and I started to recap things that I revised the day before. We skipped breakfast so we have more time to revise and head straight to the exam room without eating. We are instructed to sit according to our groups and we did our Project Management test which is a 1 and a half hour paper. I had just enough time to complete the paper. When Miss Neo told us to stop writing, I finished my last sentence. After the paper, we are released for the day as Miss Neo want to give us a break after we studied so hard for the test. We went back to put our laptops as usual and we went to get our lunch. After lunch, we took a bus 702 to 老鼠街. We alighted at 卓刀泉 and asked around how to head to 老鼠街 as our senior, Gloria, told us that there are many things to buy there. There are many street vendors there selling clothes and many other stuff. It is cheaper than those in the shopping centre and in 步行街. I guess that they can sell their wares cheaper as they do not have to pay rent. I bought 3 shirts and some accessories. It was freezing outside yesterday. Though it was not raining, the temperature was very low and I was shivering like crazy. The shopkeeper saw me shivering and agreed that today was indeed very cold. We had dinner at there and I ordered a bowl of piping hot soup noodles. We decide to head back to our hostel as it is getting quite late. We took an illegal bus back to the campus. It was bus 306 and paid RMB$1.50 for the ride. We kept asking people on board whether we have reached our stop a not as the bus did not have sound system to alert us which stop we are at already. We arrived safely back to 建设一路 and I was so cold that I could not move at the moment I stepped down the bus. Ling Li & Janice hugged me to try give me warmth and we walked slowly back to campus. Cynthia and Soon Ling went ahead of us as they are also very cold so they did not wait for us. We were all so tired out that we slept the moment we reached our dormitories.

Personal Reflection:

I feel that we must be very street smart and have social skills when we are here in china. It is very cruicial for us to have social skills and intereact with the china students and also to the strangers we met on the way to ask them for directions. If we were too shy or we dare not ask for directions, it will be very difficult to get around in wuhan as we are unfamiliar with the place and we cannot depend on the local students to bring us out all the time. Thus, with good social skills we can socialise and make our own lives easier.
