Today we met up at 8.30am to go to coca cola factory for a sight visit. We woke up at 7.30 to prepare and we head to have breakfast at the backstreet behind our school. I bought porridge as usual and a cup of soya milk and we ate on the bus. The journey to the coca cola factory was 1hour plus and we slept on the bus. Most of us slept soundly as we did not have enough sleep last night. We reached the factory at around 10 and we were brought to a room to view a video clip of the cola factory. After that, we were taken to visit the production of cola but the machines were under repair so we were a little disappointed as we are not able not see the process of making coke. After that we were brought to a souvenir area room where we took photos and hang out at there for quite some time. We board the bus and left at around 11plus. We reached our hostel at 12plus and we head off for lunch. I bought noodles at the backstreet and ate in our rooms. We met up for group discussion and did our group's project management project till 4plus before we head out to 步行街 to shop. We get our food at the streets before heading to shop. I bought a A grade converse shoes and we went to ajisen ramen shop to have our dinner. I shared a bowl of ramen with Cynthia and ordered a hokkaido scallop. We rushed to Walmart before it closes for the day as we need to get our stuff for tomorrow's outing as tomorrow we are going to have a picnic session at 东湖. We grabbed bread and tried looking for tuna but we could not find it on the shelves. I saw that tea leaves were on offer till 04/04/10 so i decided to get my tea leaves first for my parents and godmother. After that we had a hard time taking a cab back to our hostel.

Personal Reflection:

Today I learnt about the history of coca cola factory. It has a lot of beverages under it's line other than coke. It has sprite, minutemaid etc. I also found out something very interesting which is coke is first sold in a medical hall. Also, the coca cola factory has been very active in community service and was the main sponsor for the Beijing Olympics 2008. The coca cola factory invested quite a huge sum of money in china and has many factories in different parts of China.
