Today I woke up at 7.20am to bathe beforethe rest in my dormitory wake up. Our lessons start at 9am and we have to be ready by 8.45am so that we can be on time. I was ready by 8.10am so I went over to look for Janice who also woke up very early to ask whether she want to accompany me to 堕落街 to get breakfast. We went to get porridge and 汤包 for the others too and delivered it to their dormitories. We had our breakfast on the way while walking to our classroom. We were rather early as there are only 2 groups in the classroom when we arrived. We had IS lessons with Miss Grace and she thought us about the location of china and the surrounding countries. She also brought us some wuhan 特产 to try. I feel that it is very nice of her to do so and the little snacks also helped to keep us awake. She also told us about the different majorities in china such as the 汉race and also introduced to us the 9-headed bird, 九头鸟. She explained to us that wuhan citizens are very cunning like the 9 headed bird. After lessons, we decided to head to 步行街 as the weather is fine and the street stalls should be opened. Wetook a private cab and squeezed in the van as there are not enough seats. We reached at around 2plus and walked around. Cynthia saw a photo shoot studio booth and decided to take an album of photos. She paid RMB$309 for the package and we accompanied her up to the studio to take her pictures. We accompany her for a while and decided to head down to the shopping centre as we were not allowed to be in the room when she is taking her photos. We waited for her for 3hours and went up to look for her. She was wearing an ancient costume and we took turns to take photos with her. After that, we went to the street stalls to shop and I bought skirts, pants and shirts. I bought so many stuff that I need to buy a large bag to dump everything in it so I can carry the stuff I bought easily. We took a bus back as it is difficult to get a cab there. We manage to get seats this time round. We went to get our breakfast and head back to campus.

Personal Reflection:

Today i found something very interesting when we were ordering our drinks at Coco station which is a bubble tea shop. When we were ordering our drinks, SoonLing told the waiter she wanted 冷的 which means she want it cold when the waiter asked her how she want her drink to be. The waiter replied that they only have 热的which means hot, 温的 which means warm and 冰的 which means cold and no 冷的. I find it very funny and we were laughing like crazy. I think it's due to the different chinese we used that's why there is a communication breakdown.
