Day 13

Cost Crashing Example

Solution for Cost Crashing! =D

Today is lessons again as usual. Lessons with Miss Neo, Project Management. We continued from where we have ended. We learnt about Chapter 4, which consists of Cost Crashing, Direct cost and Indirect cost. We took a break for lunch at around 11 plus and went to 堕落街 as usual for our lunch as we do not really like the food in the school canteen. I decide to head back to our dormitory to bathe during the break and the others offered to buy me lunch. I told them to get me a bowl of fried rice and soya milk. We resumed lessons at 1.30pm and Miss Neo continued with the assignments and end for the day. We decided to head nearby to have dinner. We went to 建设二路 to have 炸酱面 as the others said it's nice after trying it. We went there again to have the noodles and i think it taste quite good, not something which you can find in singapore easily, very nice. It only cost RMB$4 per bowl. We also bought breakfast at the nearest bakery. We bought buns and bought some love letters which is made on the spot. It taste great and many of us intend to get some back to singapore for our family to try as it taste quite different from the ones we get in singapore which is mostly machine made. It costs RMB$3.50 for 600g. We went back to campus after dinner.

Personal Reflection:

I'm starting to miss singapore's wide variety of food choices. The different flavours we can get such as rojak, nasi lemak etc from the different ethnic groups. I feel that there are pro and cons. In singapore, the food cost more than in china. I think that it may be due to the high living expenses in singapore. In china, we can have a very heavy breakfast for only $1. I think it is very worth it as it is really very filling. Am also slowly adapting to their food here also. The oily and salty taste that they have. Am a little worried that when i return to singapore, i will find singapore's food too tasteless. I also miss my mum's homecook meals. It's rather unhealthy eating out everyday. I miss my mum's soup and homecook dishes.
